Sundowner Tri - Swim Swim 1900 metres

Freebird Falcon Triathlon

A leisurely afternoon start sees the first competitors setting off on their epic journey.
The 1900 metre swim takes place in the River Ure. An out and back swim ensures competitors have the advantage of swimming with the current on the second half of the swim. In actual fact, the waters are generally very calm along this stretch of the river with very little current. Experience the freedom and enjoyment of open water swimming with the full support of a very experienced water safety crew.

With great visibility throughout the swim and an easy to navigate swim course, you can focus your attention on achieving your best effort for the swim, as you tackle the first discipline of the Freebird Falcon Tri

The route is well marshalled and fully signed. The team of Freebird marshals will encourage and direct you all the way, making the course very easy to navigate, whilst offering their support as you continue you on your crusade to complete the Freebird Falcon.
